In 1999, the Chung family made an exceptional gift to the University of British Columbia Library, with their donation of The Wallace B. Chung and Madeline H. Chung Collection. The Chung Collection is housed in UBC's Irving K. Barber Learning Centre, where selected pieces are on display in the Chung Room.

Bayleaf was selected as the successful respondent for the redevelopment of the Chung Collection website. The Chung Collection is a physical exhibit which focuses on BC history as it relates to early Chinese settlement, immigration and the Canadian Pacific Railway (located in the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre).
This project involved a complete redesign and development using the Drupal Content Management System. New data searching options enable users to conduct research on items held in the extensive collection. A new database structure and dynamic extraction of digitized content from ContentDM enabled for improved organization of content and the inclusion of imagery allowing the Library to better highlight the collection.
This project was successfully launched in March 2010.
